|In light of issues that have occurred in the recent to a few years back, there are a few things I'd like to share.|
Regarding my art;
You do NOT have permission to trace, copy or heavily reference my art. And no, it's not okay for you to disregard this because you think I'll be fine with it as long as you credit me. You can ask, but I'll most likely say no. If you NEED a reference or something to go off on, use a photo - NOT someone's own creation from their life-long time of practice. Me and other good artists have worked our way up here, and none of us made it here only by copying and tracing other people's drawings. You won't either. Do it yourself, practice. You'll get better, and you'll be proud to say you did it on your own.
Regarding my characters;
Do NOT, I repeat do NOT copy my characters. I can't stress this enough. Sometimes I randomly visit my watchers pages, and with a quick look in their gallery, it seems they've dropped their old interests and their old characters, and taken mine after discovering me. Copying my theme, my type of story, my original characters. I do NOT approve of this. Find your own damn story based off your own damn interest. I appreciate that you like my story and my characters so much, but DON'T COPY it unless you WANT me to dislike you. Bear in mind that if I find you have copied my characters (species, occupation, name, nationality, personality, all in one and the same character) I will not leave you alone. And trust me, I KNOW when you are lying to me. You didn't accidentally make the exactly same character as me a few days after you found my page.
Regarding gifts, requests, art trades and commissions;
First in the line, I only draw gifts for the people I want to, mainly good friends. There's no point in asking. On the other side of the table, I'm perfectly fine with having my characters drawn as gifts for me. Believe me, it makes me happier than what it seems... I don't get art out of the random with no special occasion, so it'd be lovely.
I do not do requests.
There's not much of a point in asking me about an art trade, either. Unless you're around my level. I don't want to spend 3 hours on something for someone and they give me something that only took them half an hour and one fourth the effort and quality. Plus, people are prone to take forever with their part of the trade.
My commission prices can be found here
I won't negotiate for a lower price. If you want a commission you have to pay before I start.
Occasionally I won't take commissions due to lack of motivation.
What I use to make my shit:
Intuos 5/Cintiq 13HD
Occasionally I sketch on paper, but it's just copy paper and regular mechanical pencil. I'm nowhere near a professional traditional artist.
